April Showers Bring May Flowers to Scenic Pointe!
May 24, 2019Every year we have a flower planting day where our staff all pitch in and help us get our landscaping done. We take pride in not only taking care of our residents but in also taking care of our facility, inside and out.
A huge thank you to all who pitched in and helped out on flower day. Activity Director Nichole Shoemaker with Activity Aide Donna Hale looked like potted plants themselves by the end of the day. They worked hard.
Also, not pictured but a huge shout out to the Maintenance team who started early to try and beat the pending Severe Thunderstorm. They knocked out a good portion before the rains hit. A thank you to our Social Service Director Cindy Asche who was unable to be there on the official flower planting day, but wanted to do her share of the work and planted the lovely bed by the mailbox the day before. It's a Cindy Asche tradition to plant this bed and she completed it perfectly!
Last but not least a grateful thank you to our Business Office Manager Carol Snuyder who has an eye for the colors and arrangement of the gardens. She plans carefully in the execution of what to order and how to arrange, always leaving our residents, families and visitors in awe with the beautiful colors that enrich our landscape and our inner courtyards.
